Inter IKEA Group and Ingka Group have taken measures to ensure the personal safety of IKEA employees and their families, and we will continue to do so," -- said in the message.

The company also noted other effects that the war has already had. "It has also led to serious disruptions in the supply chain and trading conditions. For these reasons, the company's groups decided to temporarily stop operating IKEA in Russia," - also according to the statement.

IKEA Group decided to stop all exports to and imports from Russia and Belarus. Furthermore, the group has also stopped all production of the IKEA products in Russia. This means stoppage at the suppliers-level as well.

Ingka Group decided to stop all IKEA retail deals in Russia.

Moreover, the IKEA Foundation, funded by the Ingka Foundation, donated €20 million for humanitarian aid for resettlement of the escapees from Ukraine.

In addition, Inter IKEA Group and Ingka Group will provide €10 million each to the United Nations Office for Refugees, Save the Children, and other organizations.
