At about 12:30, the Russian occupiers fired missiles at a multi-story residential area in the center of Chernihiv.
Many buildings were damaged. The windows were broken, walls, roofs, and balconies were damaged or destroyed in some places. Chernihiv Regional State Administration reported this information on their Facebook page.
"There are NO military facilities nearby. There are hospitals, several schools, and kindergartens, dozens of multi-storeyed buildings in the area," reported the regional state administration.
Information about victims and injured is under clarification.
We should recall that today in Chernihiv at about 8:10, an enemy shell hit an oil depot on the territory of State Enterprise "Kombinat Aistra." As a result of the hit, the group oil reservoirs with diesel fuel and a total capacity of 3,000 cubic meters caught fire.
