Russia fired on Kyiv again, gas pipeline damaged

In the evening of 16 March, Russian troops struck again at the Ukrainian capital. The shells hit several private houses in the Podilskyy district.

This was announced by Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko in the Telegram. "The fire has been localized, but work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the fire. No casualties have been identified so far. The low-pressure gas pipeline has also been damaged. It is being repaired by gas service," he said.

In the morning, the Russian military launched a missile strike, which damaged a residential building and the “Okhmatdyt” [hospital] building in the Shevchenkivskyy district.

The enemy has been firing on the capital for several days in a row, affecting the civilian infrastructure.
