Morning of 29 March started from the shelling of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Office by Russian forces, according to the Head of local administration Vitaliy Kim.
The State Emergency Service (SES) reported that the nine-story administrative building was hit.
The central section of the building from the 9th to the 1st floor was destroyed.
SES units released 9 victims out of the rubble and handed them over to doctors for medical assistance.
56 people and 10 units from the SES were involved in search and rescue operations.
Update: As at 12pm 29 March, and according to SES - 3 people were killed, 22 - wounded. SES units are on site and continue rescue operations.
Update: As at 1.30pm 29 March, and according to SES - 7 people were killed, 22 - wounded. SES units released 18 victims out of the rubble and handed them over to doctors for medical assistance.
Update: According to the latest information from SES - 12 people were killed, 33 - wounded
Earlier today, russians also shelled infrastructure in Nikopol. No deaths reported so far.
