The Russian occupiers blocked the humanitarian column heading to Melitopol.
This was reported on social networks by the head of Melitopol District Military Administration, Ihor Sudakov.
"This morning from Zaporizhzhia to Melitopol went humanitarian cargo for the citizens of our district. On the way back, buses had to evacuate citizens who wanted to leave the temporarily occupied territory. Currently, the humanitarian column is stopped by the enemy in Vasylivka and will be returned to the regional center," - said Sudakov.
He stressed that this is shameful behavior for the occupiers, because "the city and the district need vital medicines that were in this cargo."
Earlier, on March 29, no one of the three humanitarian corridors for evacuation of citizens, namely Enerhodar - Zaporizhzhia, worked.
In total, three humanitarian corridors were agreed to Zaporizhzhia - from Mariupol, Melitopol, and Enerhodar.
