The management of the video game and software development company Epic Games has transferred all the proceeds from the Fortnite game, received from 20 March to 3 April, to the humanitarian support of Ukrainians.
Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said.
According to him, Epic Games managed to raise 144ml dollars. The funds were distributed among international organizations Direct Relief, UNICEF, the UN World Food Program, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Central Kitchen.
"These organizations provide emergency care, including medical care, food and drinking water, basic necessities, legal aid and asylum in Ukraine. They also help those who have been forced to flee abroad," he said.
As reported, Fortnite raised 36ml dollars for Ukraine in just one day.
