Russian forces continue to shell Kharkiv. In the last 24 hours, the occupiers have launched around 50 strikes with artillery, mortar, tanks, and multiple rocket launcher systems. The infrastructure of Saltivka, Kholodna Hora, Oleksiivka, and Kharkiv Tractor Plant districts were damaged, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synehubov, reported on his Telegram.

According to him, during the last day, the russians have actively shelled Derhachi. The hospital buildings, clinics, and residential buildings were damaged. There were no wounded or injured.

“The Izium direction remains a difficult one. Russians are trying to bypass Izium, the positions of our army, and concentrate their troops in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, strengthening their military presence there. But thanks to our Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy suffers significant losses of equipment and personnel each day on these territories,” Synehubov writes.

He also wrote about the situation with the evacuation in the region.

“We are continuing evacuation in this district, particularly from Barvinkove and Lozova, as we predict a possible relocation of the theater of operations to these settlements. 15 000 people have already left Balaklia, and around 50 000 people are staying. Around 3 000 people have left Barvinkove, and 1 500 people are staying,” the head of the region summarized.

Earlier, the military intelligence reported that russian troops are regrouping in the east of Ukraine and are planning to advance towards Kharkiv.

On April 5, it became known that Feldman Ecopark near Kharkiv had ceased to exist due to constant shelling and bombing by Russian troops.
