As of morning, March 10, the adversary is trying to break through the defence of the UAF units around Izium city and establish the full control over the city of Mariupol, reports the General Staff. The occupiers also make attempts to improve the tactical positions of their units in Mykolaiv direction.
According to the General Staff’s data, no substantial changed in the state and actions of the enemy forces in Volyn, Polissia, and Siverskyy directions have been noted.
In Slobozhanskyy direction, the enemy continues partial blocking of the Kharkiv city, shells the city using the rocket and riffle artillery systems and mortars. The occupiers are moving the additional units to the city of Izium, to strengthen their formation in this direction.
In Donetsk and Tavriyskyy operational regions, the enemy performs artillery and mortar strikes in the majority of directions. They conduct assault actions in the city of Mariupol, perform air strikes, attempt to take over the central part of the city.
In Southern Buh direction, the adversary has attempted to take control over the Oleksandrivka settlement again, without success. They have lost up to a troop of personnel and matériel.
At the same time, russian occupiers have continued to perform artillery shelling of Hovovorontsovka, Maryanske, Hovohryhorivka, and Shevchenkove.
“Due to the significant sanitary losses in personnel and matériel, the occupiers have deployed military hospitals and service workshops of military matériel in the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Oblasts. At the same time, with the constant flow of the wounded servicemen of the armed forces of the russian federation, there is not enough qualified medical personnel in the enemy hospitals. Additionally, the enemy has problems with medicament supplies, which are hardly being replenished. The staff of the service workshops in enemy matériel restoration has to work around the clock while without a stable supply of spare parts and aggregates,” the General Staff notes.
The arrival of repairs and restoration brigades from the territory of the russian federation (yaroslav oblast) has been noted, with the goal to perform repair and restoration works of the railways in the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv Oblast.
In the settlements of Melitopol raion of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the russian occupiers continue the searches of civil population’s homes. They check the documents, the availability of cars, the supplies of food. They conduct interrogations about the workplaces of the close relatives and demand information about the former employees of the law enforcement institutions, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participants of ATO/JFO.
In the city of Nova Kakhovka, the occupiers use the local typographies’ facilities to prepare the propaganda materials (brochures, booklets, posters, blanks) to perform the so-called “referendum about the creation of the Kherson National Republic”.
The General Staff reports that in Luhansk Oblast, the measures in forceful mobilization of population in the temporarily occupied territories by russian occupant administrations are being intensified.
In the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, our warriors have repelled eight enemy attacks, destroyed four tanks, eight units of armed and seven units of automobile matériel of the enemy in the last 24 hours.
The formation of the Air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has struck thirteen air targets in the past 24 hours: three planes, one helicopter, five drones, and four cruise missiles.
