On 9 April, the air defenses of the Ukrainian Air Force, Ground Forces, and Air Assault Forces struck at least 13 air targets of the Russian occupiers.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed three planes, one helicopter, five drones, and four cruise missiles.
The Air Force Command also notes that Ukrainian aircraft continue to work in the sky: fighters patrol Ukraine's airspace, while Su-25 assault craft and Su-24m bombers support ground forces with missile and air strikes.
As of the morning of 9 April, the losses of the Russian occupiers [according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense] have reached about 19.1 thousand persons, 151 planes, 136 helicopters, 705 tanks, and seven ships.
