Russians shelling Kharkiv with cluster munitions on parachutes

Russian occupiers drop parachute bombs on Kharkiv. Kharkiv City Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, urged Kharkiv residents not to approach these shells and immediately report them to rescuers.

Kharkiv City Mayor said that the Russian occupiers had been bombing the city for a month and a half, but for the past two days, along with mines, shells, and Grad MLRS rockets, the city has been bombarded with new types of shells that the aggressor drops using parachutes.

"I ask you never to approach such parachutes and immediately inform rescuers about them by calling 101 and 112," Ihor Terekhov urged.

Parachutes are used, for example, for the projectile 9M55K1 rocket-propelled grenade launcher "Tornado."

Russians first used parachute shells in Kyiv on 18 March 2022.
