NATO is developing plans that will allow to repulse russian attacks in case of its aggression. Secretary general of NATO Jens Stoltenberg announced, reports The Telegraph.
“ Now we requested our military command to provide options for what we call a reset, long-term adaptation of NATO”, - stated secretary general of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg.
Accordign to him, constant military presence on the borders of NATO is one of the solutions for the problem.
According to the new plans a powerful military NATO presence will be formed on the eastern borders of the Alliance, which will have the capability to repel potential invasion.
This plan could be considered and adopted at the June Alliance summit.
As of now 40 thousands troops on the eastern borders of NATO, which is almost 10 times more than the number of Alliance troops before the russian military aggression against Ukraine.
