China expressed interest in forming an agreement on the future guarantees of the security of Ukraine. The Head of Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the russian federation, Davyd Arakhamia stated in his interview to the channel “Dnipro TV”.
“The PRC expresses interest now. They are actively working on the draft”, - said the People’s Deputy of Ukraine.
He also listed the countries which verbally agreed to become guarantors of Ukraine’s security after the end of the war. Among them: Germany, Turkey, France and Italy.
The Great Britain and the USA announced about their plans to look into such agreements, no final decision yet.
Earlier Arakhamia stated that talks between Ukraine and China about guarantees of security are not simple.
During the EU-China summit the prime minister of the PRC Li Keqiang ensured the European leaders that Beijing would seek peace in Ukraine, but would do so on its own terms, avoiding pressure on Russia.
