White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in an interview with Fox News that the new military leadership in the Russian Federation will continue demonstrating "what we've already seen in Ukraine." "And that's what we expect," Psaki added.

That is the reaction of the United States to Putin's appointment of a new General to lead the war with Ukraine.

According to CNN, Army General Alexander Dvornikov, Commander of russia's Southern Military District, was appointed Commander of russia's military campaign in Ukraine after a series of failures on the battlefield and a clear lack of coordination between groups of russian troops in Ukraine.

Psaki also called Dvornikov responsible for "the atrocities we saw in Syria." She stressed that they continue to work with the Ukrainian authorities to make sure that Ukraine has the weapons and the help needed to succeed in the war with russia.

"This week, our National Security Adviser, our Secretary and our Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff held a two-hour conversation with their colleagues to discuss in detail what exactly the Ukrainians required, what they wanted, if we could not meet, what they needed. We work with our allies and partners the same as with the S-300 (transfer of the S-300 air-defense system from Slovakia to Ukraine - Ed.), " - Psaki said.

On April 8, Slovakia officially confirmed the transfer of the S-300 to Ukraine for air defense.
