Five people were killed and 13 others were injured in the shelling of central districts of Kharkiv on Sunday afternoon, April 17.
This was reported by "Suspilne Kharkiv" with reference to the Department of Health of the Regional Military Administration.
Rescuers are working in the affected areas.
"The occupiers fired shells at the city from multiple rocket launchers. Residential and office buildings are damaged. There are fires in various places in the city center," - the statement says.
In particular, Saltivka came under shelling.
Earlier, local telegram channels reported explosions in Kharkiv.
On Saturday, April 16, the enemy fired on Kharkiv 24 times a day, injuring 31 people, four of them children. In addition, three sappers were killed and four were wounded during the demining of Russian cluster munitions near Kharkiv.
