The Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neyizhpapa, once again visited the defensive positions of Odessa and the region. He inspected the organization of combat service and the strengthening of local infrastructure.
Neiizhpapa also talked to the marines who are on combat posts. The commander discussed with the leadership possible scenarios of territorial defense in the maritime direction, reported on the Navy's Facebook page. They stressed that Odesa is ready to give battle to the russian occupier.
"According to him [Neyizhpapa], the situation on all strategic approaches to Odesa Region is completely under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Navy is ready to repel the forces and means of the russian occupier," the statement said.
Positions to meet the enemy and inflict an effective and devastating blow on the invaders have already been deployed.
