On April 15, anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force and the 93rd Cold Yar Mechanized Brigade struck seven air targets of the Russian occupiers, says the message of the Air Force Command.
In particular, the military shot down:
- one plane;
- one helicopter;
- three unmanned aircraft vehicles;
- two cruise missiles.
"Shock aircraft of the Air Force under cover of fighters successfully carried out about ten airstrikes on the occupiers' positions. Thus, the shock groups of assault aircraft Su-25 and bomber aircraft Su-24m provided air support to their fellow fighters of the ground forces in different directions and inflicted significant damage to the rushists," stated the Air Force.
According to the command, the Russians have significantly reduced activity in Ukrainian airspace due to losses, resorting to remote strikes with ballistic and cruise missiles.
On April 15, the Ukrainian military struck down the enemy drone "Orlan-10" over Odesa. A missile shot in the direction of the city exploded in the air.
