The journalists visited the Illyich Metallurgical Plant in Mariupol. The russian Ministry of Defence announced its capture on April 15. On the morning of this day, russians reported that the Illyich Metallurgical Plant was "fully liberated from Ukrainian nationalists."

"The plant has turned into silent ruins of broken steel and exploded concrete, with no signs of defenders. At least half a dozen bodies of civilians, including a woman in a pink jacket and white shoes, are scattered in the surrounding streets," journalists said.
Mariupol is in siege since the beginning of March. The battles for the city do not stop.
On April 15, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting with the command on Mariupol. The commander of the 36th separate brigade of marines, Major Serhiy Volyna, called on the authorities to unblock Mariupol as soon as possible, either militarily or politically.
