We are ready to exchange Medvedchuk for our military or for those whom Russia can offer us.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Ukrainian online media.
"It seems to me that these signals (about Ukraine's readiness to exchange Viktor Medvedchuk - LB.ua) were transmitted both publicly and not very publicly. And if they are interested, they will react."
Earlier, Medvedchuk was detained on 12 April while trying to flee abroad. The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, said that russian FSB was involved in the removal of the godfather to putin’s daughter, with the help of Ukrainian trafficking law enforcement officers and criminals.
They wanted to take Medvedchuk to Transnistria and then take him to Moscow, but the SSU worked faster than the russians did.
