When the russian military was leaving the captured cities, it had massively mined territories. Because of such actions of the enemy, five children have already died in Trostyanets in the Sumy region.

The Mayor of Trostyanets, Yuriy Bova, informed about it, Channel 24 reports.

Yesterday, on April 16, a local exploded on a tripwire during a walk in the forest with a dog. The dog ran off the road and trespassed the tripwire. Fortunately, the man survived.

"There are many such cases. We already have five children killed from mines and various tripwires. There are also injured. There are still many such items," Bova said.

He added that the occupiers often mined checkpoints and places with equipment.

Many roads in the city have not been checked, while specialists work seven days a week.

Yesterday, during the demining of the russian ammunition in the Kharkiv region, three sappers died, and four others were injured.
