More than 567 children were injured in Ukraine because of the full-scale armed aggression by the russian federation. Of these, 205 children died, and at least 362 were injured. The bombing and shelling by the russian armed forces damaged 1,018 educational institutions, 95 of which were completely destroyed.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, these numbers are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities and on temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

In particular, an 11-year-old girl died on March 2 in Kharkiv during shelling by the occupiers of the Ivan Kozhedub National University of the Air Force.

The death of a 13-year-old girl was reported on March 30 after injuries received during the shelling of Vilkhivka village in the Kharkiv region.

On April 15, a 17-year-old boy was injured in the detonation of an unidentified explosive device in the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region.

According to official data from juvenile prosecutors, most children have been injured in Donetsk (117), Kyiv (107), and Kharkiv (91) oblasts since the beginning of the war.

In the village of the Kherson region, the occupiers fired on teenagers who went to the grocery store for bread. A 15-year-old boy died after being wounded.
