Ukrainian defence forces gave a strong opposition to the Russians on the eastern and northern-eastern straits, managed to completely liberate Kyiv region, Chernihiv region and Sumy region from the invaders and to eliminate the direct threat to Kyiv. However, for the whole country there is still the danger of missile and bomb attacks. This was announced by Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, commander-in-chief of the UAF. He urged residents of the liberated areas to be vigilant, "as the enemy has left a large number of mines and wire traps which pose a potential threat to the lives of civilians, especially children. We ask you to be cautious and inform the military command and the SESU about the suspicious objects". Zaluzhny said not to ignore the air raid alarms and be acceptive of the presence of fortification structures, checkpoints and enhanced control measures. "I also ask you to refrain from publicizing in social media and media publications about the consequences of shelling in real time, as well as information about areas that could become potential targets for enemy targeting," added the UAF commander-in-chief. Valeriy Zaluzhniy noted that it was possible to significantly reduce the threat from the sea in the eastern direction due to the sinking of the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. However, there is still the danger of landing marine and airborne troops. Therefore, Ukraine has continued to strengthen its anti-dropout defence, in particular through material and technical assistance from partner countries. "The defence forces are steadfastly defending Mykolayiv against attempts by the enemy to restart the offensive and disable the enemy in the outskirts of Kherson. We do not give the enemy the opportunity to move forward in the direction of Zaporizhzhya. The heroic defence of the heroic city of Mariupol continues. The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is taking all possible steps to support the defence of the city. In particular, the downing of the Saratov landing ship in the port of Berdyansk reduced the risk of an assault from the sea," Zaluzhny said. The UAF commander noted that Russia, regrouping its forces and equipment, is trying to break through the defence in several directions, concentrating its main efforts on Izum. "The military command is ensuring that the defence is strengthened, especially with anti-tank and anti-aircraft equipment," Zaluzhny added. "With outnumbering enemy forces in some areas, thanks to the skills of our commanders and the combat experience of our warriors we are able to repulse attacks, causing significant losses to the enemy. We preserve our fighting spirit and our faith in the Victory." - the Commander-in-Chief said. We would like to remind you that the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanik said today that the Russian Federation is completing the redeployment of forces for the offensive in Donbas, with a minimum of 36 missiles being grounded in the Black Sea. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, some units of the Russian army in Mykolayiv have lost over 70 percent of their personnel.
