Ukrainian airborne troops recently defeated and destroyed an armored group of one of the units of the 21st separate guardian red-banner Omsk-Novobuzhskaya motorized rifle brigade from Tomsk in the area of intense fighting.
The command added that units of this military branch regularly participated in the international training, where they won prizes.
“On this day, during the battle with the brave Ukrainian soldiers, many so-called “liberators” were burned in the flames of destroyed combat vehicles. Only some were later identified by available documents,” the military said.
For example, during the inspection, the personal belongings of one of the invaders in the name of Junior Sergeant Kairat Mukhanmadiyevich Sakkuziev from Orenburg, were found. “The available documents give us some insight into his short military career. Namely, he will no more need the profession of a sniper, gunner-tank commander, and the intensive courses within the program of ”survival“ at the Volga Military Institute of Logistics,” - summed up in the post of the command of the Airborne Assault troops of the UAF.
“Perhaps, none of Tomsk’s elite motorized infantry brigade expected such an ending. They faced a strong, professional, and ruthless repulse of units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And now this enemy will forever lie in the fields of our sacred land,” the Ukrainian military stressed.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated data on russia’s losses in the war: the aggressor country has already lost 20,800 soldiers, 802 tanks, and 319 aircraft/helicopters.
