The night passed calmly for most regions of Ukraine (in particular Volyn, Zakarpattya, Rivne, Kirovograd, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Kyiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Sumy, Chernigiv regions). This was reported by the regional military administration as of 8 am April 20.
Kharkiv region: the slipping district Saltivka in Kharkiv was shelled at night. No one got injured. Active fights are going in the Izum direction.
Luhansk region: Kreminna is under russian control. The enemy is trying to assault Severodonetsk and Popasna. Novodruzhesk (the small city close to Lysychansk) was heavily shelled. After midnight russians shot at civilians` houses. Two were caught in a fire. The gas pipeline was destroyed. The city of Hirske was shot several times at night. After russians had tried to assault Rubizhne and Severodonetsk hospitals of Novoaidar received circa 130 injured enemy soldiers.
Donetsk region: the center of Avdiivka was shelled at night. Heavy damage to infrastructure is observed. The city is partially cut out of electricity. Another part of the region is without changes. 3 were killed and 6 were injured in the last 24 hours.
Kherson region: constant shooting. Fights are going over the whole territory of the region. The information about destruction and victims is not available at this time. In the area close to Mykolaiv and Dnipro regions civilians are left without electricity, gas and water supply. The situation is hard.
Mykolaiv region: due to a night missile strike the building of polyclinics in Bashtanka was damaged. No victims reported for now. Mykolaiv received missile strikes at night. The amount of destruction is being identified. The situation in other cities in the region is under control.
According to The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy keeps offensive actions in the East to gain control of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
