Twelve Ukrainian militaries experienced breathing problems, and their eyes became red after russian troops' attack near the city of Izium, Kharkiv Region.

Oleksiy Arestovych, an Adviser to the Head of the President's Office, spoke about this on "Feihin Live" on 19 April 2022.

"12 soldiers, breathing problems, red eyes, and other symptoms. In the Izyum area, they can not determine its type because there is no laboratory where you could go and check it. Nobody died. There was information that some chemical substance was used. It all needs to be clarified," he said.

Oleksiy Arestovych said that, unlike in Mariupol, near Izyum, the occupiers used a "shell or missile."

"Unlike in Mariupol, where it was something dropped from a quadcopter, here it was a regular thing - a regular shell or missile. It is not likely to be a missile; it looks more like a shell or another type of delivery; we need to clarify it," - he said.

"It is possible that a container with ammonia or chlorine was hit in the area, and the soldiers got under it. Anything can happen," Arestovych said.

The officials check the information on the chemical weapon in Mariupol.

After the russians’ chemical attack, the residents of the suburbs of Mariupol complained about feeling ill.
