US President Joe Biden and the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed their intentions to provide Ukraine with artillery weapons. Censor.net and Reuters report that.
"They [Ukraine – ed.] need artillery support and that's what we can provide in addition to other forms of support," – Boris Johnson stated while commenting on the relevant decision.
Meanwhile, American media report that Joe Biden also confirmed the same plans. Answering the journalists' question about whether more artillery will go to Ukraine from the US, the US President answered: "Yes".
These decisions of the world leaders are caused by russia's transition to a new phase of the war in Ukraine.
Canada imposed additional sanctions against russian officials and oligarchs as well as their family members. Besides, the Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak reported that Canada would provide Ukraine with more artillery weapons.
