Ukrainian Mykola Kabluka, a renowned lighting designer and founder of Expolight and Kabluka Light & Digital Sculptures studios, will present his new installation, The Point of Unity, at the legendary Burning Man 2025 festival, which will take place from 24 August to 1 September in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA.

This is Kabluka's second sculpture at the iconic art venue. The author worked on the project for over nine months, investing over $100,000 together with his team.

The installation is designed as a meditative space — a meeting place between heaven and earth, man and nature, the present and the future. Using optical effects, the sculpture creates the illusion that the sky surrounds a person on all sides, immersing the viewer in a state of presence and unity.

The Point of Unity will be a continuation of a series of Ukrainian installations at Burning Man that have attracted worldwide attention in previous years. In 2023, Phoenix, a symbol of Ukraine's rebirth, was presented there, and in 2024, the sculpture I'm Fine, created from war-damaged materials.

After the festival, Mykola Kabluka plans to return the installation to Ukraine and install it on a permanent basis so that it can continue to inspire visitors at home.
