Russia’s FSB has arrested the so-called Interior Minister of the terrorist “LPR” (Luhansk People’s Republic), Ihor Kornet. He is being detained in a pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don, as reported on the Telegram of the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“The arrest of the "Minister of Internal Affairs of the Luhansk People’s Republic” provoked a negative reaction from the security forces and the political leadership of the “republic”, which assessed it as the beginning of changes in the security wing of the quasi-state. However, the head of LPR takes all efforts to free Kornet from custody and reinstate him in office,” the intelligence said.

MID added that the “purges” among the ORLO leaders began against the background of failures in the war against Ukraine.

Russian terrorists in separate areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions try to carry out mass mobilization of men to send them to war against Ukraine. Furthermore, these “mobilized soldiers” are just used as human shields for the russian army.
