In Popasna, Rubizhne, and part of the villages of the Hirska amalgamated community in Luhansk Region, the infrastructure is almost destroyed - the electricity, gas, and water supply can no longer be restored.
That was reported by the Head of Regional Military Administration of Luhansk Serhiy Hayday.
Damage can be repaired only after the end of hostilities.
“It is impossible to estimate the infrastructural damage in cities and villages where enemy army vehicles are parked. The russians destroy substations and pumping stations, seize localities, and then cannot repair anything there. “Russian World” deprives local residents of gas, water and electricity - they live this one and a half months, as most russians do all their lives. Yes, yesterday the enemy damaged a 300 kV high-voltage line. The accident is serious enough - the electricity disappeared in more than 200 temporarily occupied localities,” - the report says.
Emergency crews are working on repairs in a number of localities: in Lysychansk, Severodonetsk and Novodruzhesk, where a gas pipeline was broken at night.
“They returned electricity to homes in other cities and villages. In a day, they reduced the number of blackouts by almost 4,000 clients. This means that this is the number of families with electricity again,” Hayday said.
38 localities (109,173 clients) have no gas supply - 30 completely and 8 partially.
34 localities (104343 clients) have no electricity - 21 completely and 13 partially.
There is no water supply in Rubizhne, Popasna, partially in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.
Also without a centralized water supply are the localities supplied by the Popasna Vodokanal (translator’s note – a public corporation responsible for water supply and sanitation).
Yesterday in the Luhansk region nine more houses were destroyed, a coal mine caught fire, and a gas pipeline was broken.
