Despite Ukraine being outnumbered and the enemy’s technical advantage, russia loses more in 24 hours than in eight years in Syria.
That was reported by The Economist.
The publication notes, that Ukrainian anti-tank weapons seriously resisted russia's advance in the North and East.
“This may sound strange. On paper, Ukraine's military budget is smaller than that of the city-state of Singapore,” The Economist stated.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak reacted to this news.
“We are on our land and have a professional army destroying the enemy every day. And so it will be until our victory,” the official stressed.
As reported, on the morning of April 17, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, counted about 20,300 killed russian soldiers, 2002 armored personnel vehicles and 165 aircraft destroyed by the UAF.
On April 4, the General Staff reported that russia's losses in Ukraine had reached the size of other armies around the world. They stressed that the “second army of the world” is the first in terms of losses.
