In Kherson, there is a plan to use the scheme of pseudo-referendums conducted by the occupiers in 2014 in Luhansk and Donetsk, when instead of any demonstration of the power of the people, only a picture was created for russian television.
The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova wrote about it on the social network Facebook.
According to witnesses, in the typography of Nova Kakhovka print "bulletins" for "referendum." Obviously, all protocols on the results of "voting" will be prepared in advance and brought to the regional center.
Pseudo-referendum is planned for the period from May 1 to May 10, 2022. During this period, they intend to close Kherson for entry and exit and disconnect all communication.
"It will be difficult for the invaders to conduct a "referendum," because the heroic population of the whole Kherson region continues to go to the protests against the occupation with the slogans "Kherson is Ukraine!," despite the use of weapons by russists and force dispersal of rallies," - said in the message.
Denisova appealed to the UN Commission on Investigation of Human Rights during the Russian Federation's military invasion of Ukraine regarding the facts of war crimes and violations of human rights by russia.
Earlier, Denisova said that fake referendums on joining the Russian Federation, which the "authorities" of the "LPR" and "DPR" plan, will be legally void and will not have legal consequences.
