The Ukrainian military liberated eight more settlements in the Kherson region from the russian occupiers and repulsed several assaults.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Command "South".
"Our units have regained control over 8 settlements in the Kherson region from positions of the observation posts," the statement reads.
In addition, the russian military tried to intensify activities in the Kherson region on the eve of the fake "referendum" in the temporarily occupied territories of the region.
"Attempts to carry out assault operations in the direction of Oleksandrivka and Tavriya were unsuccessful. Attempts to seize Mykolayivka were also unsuccessful. The infliction of artillery fire on the enemy's general support group repulsed the attack," the command said.
The accumulation of enemy's manpower and equipment in Kiselivka for the further attack on Posad-Pokrovske was repulsed by the fire of our units. As a result, the occupiers withdrew to Chornobaivka with significant losses.
"The total losses of the enemy are 74 rashists and 13 units of equipment, including two tanks, a system of rocket-propelled grenades, six units of armored and engineering equipment, four reconnaissance UAVs," the report said.
The occupiers in the Kherson region postponed the "referendum" to April 27.
