Russia starts forced mobilization in occupied Ukrainian regions

The occupiers began forced mobilization, including medical staff, in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, and Kharkiv oblasts.

This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“The occupiers are mobilizing Ukrainian medical staff who remain in the occupied territories. In particular, in Vovchansk (Kharkiv region), junior medical personnel of primary care is forcibly sent to the front to provide first aid to the wounded russians. In case of refusal, medics are threatened with execution,” the statement reads.

Mobilization has also been launched to recruit young people from the local population in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, and Kharkiv regions.

“To ensure mobilization measures, the possibility of leaving the Kherson region for the territories controlled by Ukraine is almost completely blocked. The possibility of leaving for the Russian Federation is significantly limited,” the Main Intelligence Directorate mentioned.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, russian military and FSB [russian intelligence] officers are looking for conscripts. They should supposedly replenish the combat units of the russian federation in the most problematic areas.

“These measures are carried out, despite the predominantly pro-Ukrainian attitude of the population of the regions and the general motivation to resist the Russian invaders,” said Ukrainian intelligence.

As reported earlier, the first confirmations were receieved of forced mobilization of men from the seized Mariupol to the “dpr army,” who would be sent to fight against Ukraine.
