Residents of the territories temporarily occupied by the enemy mostly refuse hostile "aid" and surprise the occupiers with self-organization.

A wide volunteer movement has been launched in the occupied territories of Kharkiv region. The social situation is very difficult, so people continue to organize themselves for mutual assistance, according to the Facebook page of the Main Intelligence Directorate [MID] of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"In the Velykoburlutskyi district, volunteers are delivering food and necessary medicines to low-income people. For this purpose, volunteers are raising funds on their own, fundamentally refusing russian" help," the intelligence officers added.

In the Kupyansk district, where there is no water supply, volunteers organized the delivery of technical water for the elderly. The situation with access to drinking water remains extremely tense.

During April 21-23, russian troops confiscated generators from local residents for their own use. At the same time, the occupiers express surprise by the activity and self-organization of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied areas of Kharkiv region. According to them, "everything would be different in russia. No one would volunteer."

Russian servicemen and FSB officers are trying to demoralize the local population by spreading information that "Ukraine has cut off electricity to settlements," and that "Kharkiv is almost occupied by the russians." At the same time, the occupiers are tightening control over telephone and Internet networks. In particular, the equipment of the russian mobile operator “Megafon” is being installed in the Kharkiv region," the intelligence officers added.

Payment in russian rubles is also being introduced, and the local population is agitated to go to russia to buy goods and medicines.

The occupiers are obstructing the supply of Ukrainian humanitarian aid in order to force people to agree to theirs. At the same time, Ukrainians mostly refuse russian "help".
