Russian missile strike causes blast at Krasne railway station in Lviv Region (updated)

Today, on April 25, at about 8:30 a.m. there was an explosion at the traction substation of the Krasne railway station in the Lviv region due to the missile strike, the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyy reported. According to him, the departments of State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working on site right now; the fire is being put out. 

"One missile in the Lviv region was destroyed by anti-aircraft units of the West Air Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The missiles flew to the west of Ukraine from the south-eastern direction; the Russian occupiers fired them from strategic aircraft, probably Tu-95," Kozytskyy said.

Update 1:34 p.m. Kozytskyy wrote on his Telegram that the fire caused by the missile strike on the traction substation of the railway station in Zoloсhiv district had been put out. 

“There are no casualties. Thanks to our anti-aircraft forces,” he said.

This morning, five railway stations in Central and Western Ukraine came under fire from the Russians. At least 16 trains will be delayed. There are victims, details are being clarified.
