The Ukrainian military repelled the attack of the Russian occupiers in the territory of the Mykolaiv region and destroyed 13 units of enemy equipment, the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported.
"The Russian occupiers shelled us again on Easter. As always, unscrupulous and vile. Explosions in Briansk ... It looks like the Russians are bombing themselves. It feels like they are inflating the situation," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
"There is good news about our military. They defeated the enemy's attack; they went to repair 13 units of equipment," Kim added.
He also noted that the Russian soldiers who retreated were then shot and burned by their own. The head of the regional military administration proposed to the occupiers that they surrender.
"There is information about the work of the procurement. I remind you that we also offer them to surrender - with weapons and equipment. We need prisoners to exchange," said Kim.
During April 24, in the south of Ukraine, occupiers lost 73 personnel and 7 units of equipment. The Armed Forces of Ukraine regained control over 5 settlements in the Mykolaiv region.
