Two russian cruise missiles flew over the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

The National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine “Energoatom” informed about this.

"Today, at 6:41 and 6:46, two enemy cruise missiles flew at low altitude over the Zaporizhzhya NPP site in the direction of Zaporizhzhya. Later, explosions from russian cruise missiles were recorded in Zaporizhzhya," the company said.

According to the head of "Energoatom" Petro Kotin, there are 7 nuclear facilities with a huge amount of nuclear material at the Zaporizhzhya NPP site. "This creates huge risks. After all, missiles can hit one or more nuclear facilities, and this threatens a nuclear and radiation catastrophe around the world," Kotin said.

Energoatom reports that the Zaporizhzhya NPP is still under the control of the invaders. The occupiers keep heavy equipment and ammunition on the site.

The other day, russia launched three missiles that could have aimed at the nuclear reactor of the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant.

"Energoatom" stressed that the company documented all the crimes committed by the occupiers at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and in the city of Energodar.
