During the day on 26 April, surface-to-air missile units of the Air Force, Land Forces, and Assault troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit at least seven air targets of the russian occupiers.

The Command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on this.

"The state's air defenses continue to destroy the enemy in the air," the statement reads.

One russian Su-25 aircraft, one Ka-52 helicopter, two cruise missiles, and three drones (likely Orlan-10) were destroyed.

"Military transport, fighters, bombing, and assault aircraft of the Air Force continue to perform their tasks in the airspace of Ukraine. After sudden airstrikes launched with various weapons, the russian occupiers suffered significant losses in their positions. A lot of enemy equipment and manpower were destroyed!" included in the message.

A day earlier, on 25 April, the Armed Forces struck ten air targets of the russian occupiers.
