One person killed, seven injured by missile strike on Kremenchuk

One person was killed, and seven more were injured due to a missile strike on Kremenchuk on Sunday, April 24, the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Dmytro Lunin, reported. 

“9 enemy missiles hit the Kremenchuk combined heat and power facility (CHP) and the Kremenchuk oil refinery the day before. Unfortunately, one person was killed, and seven people were injured. They have injuries of different severity. There is significant damage to the buildings, but all the fires are localized. There is no hot water as a result of the shelling of the CHP,” he wrote on his Telegram. 

Lunin also emphasized that the shelling on Easter evening was the biggest one in the region since the beginning of the Russian invasion. 

On April 2, Russians shelled the Kremenchuk oil refinery and surrounding fuel warehouses. It was reported that the shelling destroyed the enterprise's infrastructure.
