Russian forces intensified shellings of the settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the direction of Kryvyy Rih. But all the attack attempts were successfully repulsed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The head of the Kryvyy Rih District Military Administration Oleksandr Vilkul reported that. "In the last 24 hours, the intensity of the shellings from the enemy increased significantly. In particular, there were two BM-30 Smerch strikes at the outskirts of the village Novolativka. Today, our territories in the area of Zelenodolsk community, settlements Novopavlivka, Novovorontsovka, Trudoliubivka, Kniazivka, and some others were shelled. Thank God, there are no victims," he stated.

Oleksandr Vilkul reported that the russian forces tried to attack Ukrainian positions.

"The orcs made several attempts to go on the offensive at the contact line that runs across the Kherson region using armored vehicles and infantry units. Due to the courage and heroism of our soldiers, they didn't succeed. The enemy retreated after suffering considerable losses in equipment and manpower,” he said. “The work on strengthening all our multi-level echeloned defense lines is going on constantly. New fortifications are being constructed. As of today, there are more than several hundred objects equipped according to all the rules of military engineering. More than 100 vehicles of heavy equipment are also working constantly."

The head of the Military Administration also added that the flow of refugees from the Kherson region had increased. "According to the people who made it out of the occupied territory, the orcs are committing real atrocities there,” he reported. “Looting, tortures, murders, and kidnapping – it's normal for the barbarians."

On 24 April, russian forces fired at the railway in the Pavlohrad district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying eight buildings.
