On Sunday, 24 April 2022, the day Eastern Rite Christians celebrated Easter, the russian military continued to shell Ukrainian cities, targeting places where the consecration of paskas [traditional sweet Easter bread] was announced.

This was reported by Zaporizhzhia RMA (Region Military Administration).

"At about 10:00 a.m., the shelling began in Vasylivka. According to locals, the missiles landed in places where the consecration of paskas was announced the other day, and the attack itself began immediately after the church service started," - says the report.

At the same time, the russians are spreading false information that it was Ukrainian soldiers shooting at civilians.
