Deputy Commander of the "Azov" Regiment, Sviatoslav Palamar, recorded another video address to the world community.
The video was published in the telegram channel of the "Azov" Regiment.
He appealed to the whole civilized world to do everything possible so that the soldiers who performed a superhuman feat in the abandoned Mariupol were able to tell everything to their relatives and visit the graves of their brothers-in-arms.
"Christ is risen, dear Ukraine! Today is the Great Day, but even today, the enemy continues to drop aerial bombs, naval artillery fires, cannons fire, enemy tanks continue to fire, and infantry tries to storm. But remember: now, while you are posting Easter pictures and enjoying the armistice, in Mariupol, the enemy is dropping bombs on the heads of innocent children,"- said Palamar.
Palamar also thanked all those trying to help with the evacuation of civilians from the city.
Mykhailo Podoliak, the Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President, said that russia, on Easter day, is attacking "Azovstal" in Mariupol non-stop. The russians also intensively gather equipment and forces for the assault.
On 24 April 2022, Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that the russians had not gained complete control of Mariupol and noted that the country's military and political leadership were in constant contact with the worriers that remain in the city.
Russia has refused the Easter armistice. Despite the promised corridors for evacuation from Mariupol, the russians continued hindering the departure of civilians. Moreover, russians banned Ukrainian civilians from leaving to the territory controlled by Ukraine and opened a corridor for evacuation in the direction of russia.
