Two children killed in Easter shelling of Donetsk Region

Girls aged 5 and 14 were killed as a result of the russian enemy shelling the village of Ocheretyn in the Donetsk region.

The Head of the Donetsk Region Military Administration (RMA), Pavlo Kyrylenko, wrote about it on Telegram.

"The lives of two children from the Ocheretyne were taken away by the russian occupiers this Easter morning. The house on Myr Street, where their family lived, was destroyed, and girls aged 14 and 5 were killed. The russians will never be forgiven for the crimes committed on our land neither by God nor by men," - he wrote.

Kyrylenko addressed Ukrainians, who still ignore the danger and underestimate the inhuman cruelty of the russians. He once again appealed to them, asking them to evacuate from the confrontation line to save their lives and their children's lives.

"It is this, and not well-organized apartments and houses, that has the highest value. We will rebuild everything that was destroyed. The main thing is to stop the horde. And civilians need to survive," added the RMA Head.

The village of Ocheretyne is located in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region northwest of Donetsk. The former district center of Yasynuvata is about 29 km away. The village has a hub railway station of the railway lines Donetsk - Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk - Horlivka.

On Saturday, 23 April 2022, russians killed four more civilians in the Donetsk region.

On 22 April 2022, the occupiers shelled 20 municipalities in the Donetsk region; Sloviansk was hit the hardest.
