The number of children killed in the full-scale Russian invasion has risen to 213.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on the morning of April 24.

“More than 602 children were injured or killed in Ukraine during the two months of full-scale armed aggression by russia. According to official data, as of April 24 morning, 213 children were killed and more than 389 were injured,” the Office of the Prosecutor General mentioned.

The most affected were the following regions: Donetsk - 122, Kyiv - 114, Kharkiv - 91, Chernihiv - 66, Kherson - 44, Mykolaiv - 43, Luhansk - 37, Zaporizhzhia - 27, Sumy - 17, Kyiv city - 16, Zhytomyr - 15.

The day before, the death of two girls was recorded as a result of the shelling of Mariupol by russian military. And on April 22, a 17-year-old boy died in the shelling of the village of Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia.

“On April 22, during the recording of criminal offenses committed by the occupiers in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, the body of a 16-year-old boy with shrapnel wounds was found. On April 23, near the village of Novokyivka, Snihurivskyi district, Mykolaiv region, a 9-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were wounded from an explosion and wreckage after a mine detonation,” the Office of the Prosecutor General said.

The prosecutor’s office points out that the data are not final, and law enforcement officers are currently establishing them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

On April 22, the russian troops launched missiles on Odesa. One of the missiles hit a high-rise building in the Kyiv district of Odesa. According to the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, the whole family did not survive: Lyudmyla Yavkina, her daughter Valeria Yavkina and three-month-old baby Kira.

In Mariupol, which has been under siege by Russian troops since March 1, two little artists of the Theater “Concept” died.
