On April 23, the Russians fired 12 times at the peaceful homes of Luhansk residents. Hirske, Zolote, Lysychansk, and Severodonetsk were under fire.
The head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, reported this on Telegram. The bodies of eight victims were found on Saturday. Six of them were killed during yesterday’s artillery fire on Hirske and Zolote. Two more people were seriously injured.
Two other victims died when a shell hit a house in Popasna a few days ago.
“Two women were trapped under the rubbles, but unfortunately, they were not rescued. Yesterday afternoon State Emergency Service officers evacuated three people from the shelling in Rubizhne,” Haidai said.
He added that a high-rise building was on fire in Lysychansk, and a private house was engulfed in flames during the night in Rubizhne. In Sievierodonetsk, five houses were destroyed, four of which were located near the National Police building.
Yesterday, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 12 attacks by russians in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. They destroyed four russian tanks, five artillery systems, 15 armored vehicles, one armored combat vehicle, and four vehicles.
