The State Duma of russia wants to force the Ukrainian prisoners of war to donate blood to the wounded occupiers.

This was announced by Commissioner for Human Rights of Verkhovna Rada Lyudmyla Denisova.

"This fact shows an analogy between the atrocities of the Nazis in concentration camps during World War II. This practice of forced donation was widespread in Nazi concentration camps. Buchenwald prisoners who survived recalled that [Nazis] took blood from them for Wehrmacht soldiers, starved people and forced them to work. Russia is grossly violating Article 26 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, "Denisova said.

The Ombudsman appealed to the UN Commission of Inquiry into Human Rights Violations during russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account violations of the rights of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

The other day the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received audio interception of the occupiers' conversation about the order to kill all prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Force in the district of Popasna [Luhansk region].

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers brought to the hospital a captured soldier of the UAF, who was tortured. According to an RMA spokesman, the man was tortured so much that he tried to cut his own veins.
