Hungry people refuse to eat food that belonged to russian occupiers - defence minister

After the liberation of Chernihiv region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, people were offered to eat the food left by the occupiers after their escape. Residents refused to consume what belonged to the invaders.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov told about it during his visit to Chernihiv Oblast. In particular he visited the hottest spots in the Oblast, where fierce battles were fought with the russian occupiers.

Reznikov talked to the local children. In the conversation, they said they want peace and the end of the war as soon as possible.

“When we hear the scary stories about more than 300 people, children in that school, in the basement, who were held, shot, tortured, still children painted pictures on the walls and wrote "Glory to Ukraine!" ... This is the behavior of barbarians, looters, rapists, rapists," - Reznikov spoke about the russian occupation army.

On May 1 Alexey Reznikov visited the liberated settlements of Yagidne and Lukashivka in the Chernihiv Oblast.

The day before, Ukrainian border guards recorded shelling from the territory of russia near the Ukrainian checkpoint "Senkivka" in Chernihiv Oblast.
