The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, will virtually address the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reports The Guardian.

The publication published quotes from Johnson's future speech.

"Your children and grandchildren will say that Ukrainians taught the world that the brute force of an aggressor counts for nothing against the moral force of a people determined to be free," says the article.

The Guardian notes that Johnson will be the first world leader to address the Verkhovna Rada since the start of a full-scale Russian invasion and that he is willing to show critics "he is focused on international affairs despite continuing questions over his leadership."

The publication notes that the speech before the Ukrainian deputies will be a reciprocation to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who delivered a historic speech to the House of Commons in March.

On April 9, Johnson visited Kyiv. He said Britain would provide Ukraine with a new financial and military assistance package. Britain will hand over another 100 million pounds worth of weapons to Ukraine, including Starstreak anti-aircraft systems.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, together with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, walked around Kyiv - they walked along Khreshchatyk, Independence Square, and the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
