Secretary of National Security and Defense Council: capitulation is only thing we can sign with russia
Oleksiy Danilov noted that the main guarantee for Ukraine is a "conscious society, the Ukrainian military, and weapons."
The Secretary of National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, believes that Ukraine will not sign a peace treaty with russia.
He stated this on the air of the telemarathon.
"Capitulation is the only thing we can sign with russia," - said Oleksiy Danilov.
At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that international security guarantees are necessary. Still, the main guarantee for Ukraine is a "conscious society, the Ukrainian military, and weapons."
He added that the strongest guarantee is a strong country; otherwise, no other guarantees will work.
Oleksiy Danilov also characterized russia's dreams to take control over the South of Ukraine by May 9 and reach Transnistria as unfeasible.
During the negotiations in Istanbul, Ukraine suggested that the UN Security Council member states, Great Britain, China, Russia, USA, France, Turkey, Germany, Canada, Italy, Poland, and Israel provide our country with security guarantees similar to NATO's collective defense principle. In particular, within three days of the attack on Ukraine, the guarantor countries should provide Ukraine with military assistance, armaments, and a no-fly zone.
