Over the day on 2 may the servicemen of the Joint Forces group successfully repulsed 12 attacks of russian occupation forces in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the JFO headquarters' press service reported.
"Due to their competent actions and skill, our fighters inflicted losses on russian occupiers. In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 6 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 22 combat armored vehicles, and 8 automobiles of the enemy," – the statement reads.
Also, the Air Defence units shot down 5 unmanned aerial vehicles "Orlan-10" in the Ukrainian Donbas sky.
According to British Intelligence, russian occupation forces' achievements in Donbas are limited by Ukraine's strong resistance.
