The self-proclaimed or appointed by the russians “mayor” of Berdyansk is a local little-known businessman Alexander Saulenko, who was registered in the Berdyansk district from the political party “Union of Left Forces” and also ran for Novopetrivka village council from the party “For the Future”.
His “rule” began with the fact that he posted a video in which he told everyone that he was now the “mayor” of Berdyansk. The man promised to establish a peaceful life with the russian people.
As previously reported by the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, russians appointed Mykyta Samoylenko, who had previously worked as a janitor and joined the enemy, as the deputy “mayor” of Berdyansk.
